another option would be to find an HO at a junk yard and rip the fuel rail off that. but good luck finding an HO.

I have a custom catback, KN intake, and 33's my gas mileage with the 3.7L sucks. Did you see any improvements in gas mileage switching to the 4.6L Ford injectors?

Also do you have a part number for the injectors and where can I find them. Are they direct replacement

I would assume to get worse mileage with them.....using more fuel. Someone tell me if i'm wrong though...

When talking MPG, fuel maps are more important than max capacity of the injector. Mine are #39 but at normal driving deliver almost the same fuel maps as a stock 4.7L. At aggessive accelleration/WOT, that changes drastically.

Like Blown said. When driving "normally" my city mpg actually improved 1 mpg and highway dropped 1 mpg, maybe 1.5 on the high side. If I lay into the throttle around town all day, mpg sucks lol..

Here is the part number of the ones I used (thanks blown!)

Bosch 0280156127 and are 39#'s. Just type Bosch and the part number into a search engine and there are a few websites that sell them.

HAHA! I surprisingly didn't have to get her anything. I asked her if I could get them and she was completely fine with it.

alright old thread but some guys in the 2G section say that doing injector swaps on n/a or stock motors is pointless. they say that with out more air being sucked in (forced induction) that injectors are worthless other than running super rich.......enlighten us please.
