Default gas mileage

I have a 2006 Dakota SLT trx4 all-wheel drive. I get 13 mpg's regardless if I'm lead foot or a highway driver. The only thing I've done is a flo pro muffler. I would like to get a few more, Any suggestions?

You could install a modular intake tube, that freed up a couple mpg foe me and my 2001 4.7 Druango 4x4. All I used was 2 3" hose clamps and a Spectre flexable intake hose from my local oreilly auto parts.

Heres what Mine looks like

First let me say welcome to DF and the G3 Dakota section. Several things can kill mpg. Bad EGR valve, pinched/clogged PCV valve, clogged air filter, gummed up injectors just to name a few.

Welcome to the forum. I have to say if you have the full time awd, your not going to get much better. I get around 16 with part time 4wd.

Welcome to the Forum! swap out the clutch fan to electric will help some. Y-pipe will help, and CAI.
