Great place for colored bulbs. Thanks Ueland!

I know this thread is dead now but i have a question for ueland. When i asked you how to "lop" out the fog lamp lenses i meant "pop" out haha. My bad, but do you remove those three little bolts (torx 27 or so) and then just let the bulb hang? i got the yellow film from rvinyl and will probably take care of the mod this afternoon

That sounds about right.

Here's a link to the service manual for our trucks, it shows it in there in detail.

Sounds like you've pretty much figured it out.

Don't sweat gettin the film perfect round the sides. it can't be seen from the front.

Also the only "real" problem I had when doing mine was holding the light still while I was trying to install the vinyl. If you have a vice or something you can secure the light in while working on it, you'll be a step ahead of me.

And FYI, I did destroy one piece of vinyl before I got it right.

Post pics!!! Need to show everyone how its done... also wanna see before and after shots of the truck!!!

thanks ueland, yeah i looked at it quick and figured it was those three bolts but wasnt too sure. two in the front one in the back. i ll find some way to secure it. probably going to cut out a square a little bigger than the lamp and then just trim it with a razor blade to shape. i will post pics when I am done to show the lights and then also at night. i built the gutter guard grill last saturday so will include that in the pics

I had to take the bumper cover off to get my fogs out...they would not fit through the hole....
