yes. if you dont mind and have some free time to play around in the garage. get the side that slides into the diff seperate from everything else and well start from there.

That's the cv I just pulled off my truck because it basically exploded.

is that the inboard joint? (diff side) if so. it looks like you can at least measure the O.D and the height.

yeah take alot of pics splines of shaft have one exploded view of the complete cv shaft assy i want to know if some parts are interchangeable side to side...

and if you have a CV rebuilt shop near go see them with inner joint(diff side) if they can use the VW /AUDI/ GM 930 934 style stock high angle join

you don't need to go through all that trouble. CV joints aren't like other parts on our trucks where they have to be interchangeable. CV joints just have to have the same spline count. and same way to hook up to the joint housing that slides into the diff. and the inner joint is the only thing you guys need to change. the shaft and the outter joint are plenty strong. you could even go get a 300m chromoly shaft if you wanna get fancy.

so far it looks like the bolt pattern on the outter ring (holds the joint to the housing that slides into the diff) is the same as the 934. we need spline counts and measurements now. thanks for the pics

check this out. the empi joints are pretty good and come in grooved or non grooved for lightweight. (which helps take away drag from the engine to aid in accel)

looks like theyre going to be around 150 each unless you wanna go race prepped from a company other then EMPI than itll be around 3-500 each

looks like the 934 has a 128mm OD vs the 108mm OD of the 930 cv...so we just need to measure the OD of the dakota cv
