dakota amp question
That's the good thing about DF, somebody has an answer to everything. Very helpful.
there should have been a picture attached to the comment. but if you shoot me an email: matthewmartin114@yahoo.com i can then send the photos that way. i have several of them installed and uninstalled. im in the process of doing a more efficient install for the 100w role bar lights which im also going to run off that secondary battery. I plan to take picture of switch location and install with fuses and all. main power will feel threw the fire wall and up to the lower part of the drivers dash. (remember this is my DD.) but ill keep everyone posted i plan to make a Post for comments and idea as far as lighting go's.
when I first started putting a system together in my truck I had just one amp that was just sitting under the rear passenger seat in my quad cab. The issue I was running into was that there was just not enough clearance for it to ventilate properly. When I completed my system I ended up putting two amps under the seat, and was able to do so by doing a little fab work on the seat frame itself that gave me all the clearance I needed (just in case I also installed a cooling fan, though I may not have needed it). I will try to add a pic of what I did to give you an idea.
