1/4 mile times
He's been building up his engine, just finished installing his 224 cams and beehive valve springs. It has not all gone smoothly though. His spring compressor broke, he over came that. He dropped a valve, over came that. Now his head gasket didn't seal so he has to pull the heads again, spray it head gasket sealant re-torque it to spec.
I've been there. When I pulled my heads my truck was down a month.

According to an 1/8th to 1/4th conversion table, you'd run a 16.98 second 1/4 mile. Has to be offffffff.

Good luck!!!
haven't run my current truck but my totalled one i was running low 14s stedy and high 13 under great conditions but that was also a stroker motor that was built but RPM in vermont. i was running the a powerglid and the truck was tubed and chassised. i dropped all the weigh that i could possably do with little frame twist. i actually had to install several cross braces to help with launches. i would love to tell everyone what was actually done to the motor but i have clue it was a sealed motor built to spec and it went from there into the truck. i can tell you we had to run a 700 holley and a msd ingition with a super coil. had 18x15 hooker drag slicks out back a 50 shot of nos. controlled threw WOT condition. stainless steel and fiber glass reinforced custom made driveshaft. i have the motor moved back about 4 inches (which lines the # 1 and 2 pistions up with the stock motor mount positions) i wasnt running a water pump, ant, toyota rack and pinion. I really wish i had pictures they were all on my other computer which crashed and i lost them along with my reaction time software and about 90% of my set ups for different tracks. but its all good I'm out of running anyway. last wreck hurt a little more then just the wallet.
