Default What type of transmission seal is needed? 42RLE
I plan to change my transmission filter this weekend and am going to obviously drop the pan. What is recommended since the Dodge dealer where I got the filter says there is no pan gasket specified?

I figure to use some sort of RTV or 'The Right Stuff' most likely, which is recommended, if RTV which kind?

I use this stuff on mine and it hasn't failed me yet.

ok I was at the store today and saw an ULTRA BLACK, that would be even better I take it?
