Struts/shocks will not increase ride height, unless yours are completely shot/broken, but then they would just bring it back to stock height...we've got 4 choices: Rancho (stiff), Monroe (not so stiff) KYB (not recommended) or OEM (definitely not recommended). If you want a lift you will need coil spring spacers for the front and blocks for the back.

I went with Monroes in the rear; I get maybe 2 inches of total movement if I get a big guy bouncing on the tailgate. My skinny *** can barely get that thing moving.

I have Rachno Struts up front, with a 1.5" coil spacer. At first it was really stiff, but they broke in a little now. I can get a few inches of total movement if I get it bouncing. The spacer in the coil raises the truck and will make the ride a little more stiff.

Overall, it makes the truck ride awesome. The only ways to lift are with a coil spacer, an over-the-coil kit, and blocks for the rear. If you are 4x4, 2.5" is the most you want to raise the front; 2" is ideal to prevent excessive wear on the CV shafts.

i can make you up some adapter plates to allow a bolt up aftermarket rod-end style coilover in the front. which would be adjustable with a spanner wrench. although i wouldnt be held responsible for you cranking it all the way up and binding something

you can get a damn good coilover for about 250-300 each. and there is no other option that compares to the ride quality of a hydrogen charged coilover.

for the rear. shocks wont change ride height just the attitude at which the truck handles. you can simply measure your eye to eye collapsed and extended and get yourself a smooth body 2.5 shock matching those measurements

you should pick up the rough county shocks i have because they are a little bit to long for a 1,5'' lift since you hava a total of 4''+ lift in the rear

Remme you should consider this (aujstable lift coil over+ adapter)with project dirt uppers and 930-934 cv joint since you should have terible rake with more than 4'' lift in the back.

with the coilover conversion kit. you can choose to run PD uppers or not. whether you lift or not you will still unleash more travel and a much much better ride quality.

with the conversion kit you can either drive around stock height or lift it 1 inch, 2 inch, hell even 3 inches! just by turning the collar on the coilover. no coil spacers needed.

If you do this and the upper dont hit the coil as a bumpstop be sure to install a limit strap if you dont swap your cv joints!!!2,5 max with a 4x4

yea that too. you gotta be careful because these coilovers can unleash some nasty travel and not properly strapped can destroy things. but if your not jumping or hitting woops than chances are you wont see full droop anyway
