okay so i'm back from a month of death valley deployment training and today i got off at 0730 right after PT and got a great IDEA to mount a flag pole in the back of my truck so i simply went to "THE HOME DEPOT" and got this assembled...got a video of it flyin too but its taking forever to load.

so this is two 1" single sided brackets screwed in...they turn sideways to overlap the pole and hold it in place but when pole not there they hang straight down.

I have a flag pole that mounts to a hitch reciever that I was going to use eventually, but now I cant get a hitch. Lol

its a 1st cavalry division flag. its what division i'm in at Fort Hood, Texas. 1st brigade, 1st cav division.

 

so are you keeping the truck now?

no i am not keeping the truck now...just making mods before i leave and my sister gets old glory! truck actually won a fort hood car show for best mid sized truck! and it came from dodge aftermarket spray in so idk what line it is. but here is the video of it flyin.
