Default keyless entry clicker not working

hi everyone. this may seem very odd and strange but i promise you its 100% true. yesterday morning my dad went to go to a doc appointment in a big rush because he was late, went to unlock my parents hyundai santa fe, and its wouldnt work with the clicker. so he grabs my dakota keys, uses the clicker to unlock it and goes on his way. so i find the spare set of keys for the santa fe, still wont unlock, but opened the door manually, started the engine, to make sure the battery was charged. started no problem. then when my dad gets home, he tells me my truck wont lock via the clicker on the keyless entry.:S so we try the other car (buick centry) with the clicker, and nothing. try the remote garage door opener, nothing. so we ask the neighbour. all his are not working either. so i got in my truck, drove around the corner maybe 300' away, got out of my truck, hit the clicker, and it worked fine. WHAT IS HAPPENING!? 2012?

(apparentely hyundai told me dad he was pretty much mental and to leave thier dealership haha)

I work in the garage door industry and have come across this every once in awhile. Do you or your neighbor have wi-fi (wireless internet)? Sometimes wi-fi can screw w/ the frequency of your garage door opener. But could be a fluke. Let me know if you got it working.

Sounds like some stray RF signal is over powering everything.
