The headers usually cost around 500$ and if you install them yourself you will save about $250. If you get a good performance muffler you are looking at $100-300. Are you going true duals?

I'm thinking if a shop does the entire install it would run around $1,200-1,500 depending on what brand parts you choose.

Anybody have a link to what type of bolts to replace for the manifold. Can I use the locking type for headers?

Exhaust bolts are Metric M8-1.25 x 40mm. These are the ones I use.

Stock bolts yes, and I would never use them again.

10.9s no. Run a google on "10.9 exhaust bolts SRT "and you will see on the SRT Forums they are holding up to serious rwhp.

Those bolts at Clips & Fasteners are really expensive ($9.33) unless the price is for a set of bolts rather than for 1 bolt.

.90 cents a piece at Ace Hardware for the flanged hex bolts I use. Like Winston said, the standard hex is .60 cents a bolt. I use the flanged hex to evenly put pressure on the header lock washers.
