Default My CAI is finished

Well, it clears the hood. I can't believe how much noise and whistle this thing has. I had it at the end of my intake ( where the box sits) and decided to see if it fit. I noticed a nice difference at take off.

Not bad for $17.

It is a Spectre. I bought it at Advance Auto Parts on sale for 15.99. Usually 30.00

you just have it stuck on the end of the throttle body? Interesting idea, but thats going to be sucking some serious hot air in the summer.....

Did you not want to plumb it over to where the original intake area is?

At the moment, no. I would need to get the duct work and Jenn wants me to get tires before I put more money into the motor. I tried the, well it is the air intake, kinda like the exhaust is separate speech. She replied, " a motor needs air to run, and needs to get rid of that air, so the intake thingy and exhaust are included with the motor". Damn, she knows her stuff lol.
