Default Daks in the field.

Apparently, the Government and Government contractors including security contractors purchased a boatload of 2010/11 Dakotas. I also understand thought don’t hold me to this they are still building 2011 units into 2012 and 13 for fleet sales only. I am out on military bases and I see the Dakota everywhere. Yes they are all always white.

Sounds plausible; Ford build Tauruses and Crown Vics for a couple years after they were 'discontinued' for fleet use only. At least they are making the used parts pool bigger! Plus, I'm sure they will be auctioned off someday.

At our VA hospital here in SLC, all the small pickups are 05+ Dakotas. They have a couple Rangers, but most are Daks. I remember seeing a lot out at Dugway Proving Grounds and Hill Air Force Base too.

I'm a contractor that visits Camp Pendleton about once a week and I see Dakotas everywhere.

went to Ft. Benning for my nephews graduation from basic training and I thought I had died and went to Dakota heaven. I have never seen so many Dakota's in one place.
