Vibration
I'n not disagreeing with any advice to have the grommet issue looked at closely. I would however attempt to isolate it to driveline or engine. If you have a garage, vent the exhaust and run it in the dark. Your sense of feel is hightened in the dark. If you can't feel the vibration in neutral at the RPM you notice the vibration, it may be driveline. Put jackstands in the rear, elevate the tires off the floor. Chock the front wheels front and back, or put the front up off the floor too. Repeat the process of trying to "feel" the vibration. Good luck.
It is something in the rear end. That's where the noise is coming from, was able to find that much out. I inspected the brakes but im going to did into it again. The wheel spins freely but I swear it is acting like a shoe is grabbing.
The problem with sucking up a grommet into your engine is now you're hypersensitive to sounds your brain may have ignored before. Once you key into a sound it'll drive you nuts (at least that's how my scrambled brain works).
Kent, I don't know what to tell you man. You said none of this happened before the Grommet being sucked into the engine. You keep spending money and chasing suspension ghost. They are not making your engine vibrate at highway speeds.
Don't be scared to take the valve covers off man. I talked to Sean last night, we suspect you have a bent valve. Your symptoms fit it perfectly. It only takes about 20-30 minutes to pull both valve covers and inspect the valves. I can even give you my cell phone number and walk you through it.
I don't want to see you spend 300$ dollars on suspension parts that aren't broke and destroying your engine while you have a chance to salvage it.
