Spectro analysis on Motor oil, who has done it?

I don't know about this once a year stuff... I work construction with a LOT of dust, I tow, I haul, I put on about 20k+ miles a year, and I change my oil every 3500-4000 with castrol GTX and a Fram xtra guard filter.
I have tried full synthetic, and It still looked as black and nasty as can be.
Where is this that you guys get your oil "Tested"?
I"d like to know what it really is when i'm at the 3000 mile mark, other than black as can be.
