bumper fix solution

Default bumper fix solution

is there a way that i can realign my bumper to get it back into place? do i have to take the whole bumper off...below is a few pics let me know thanks!

I have the exact same issue. I would think that taking off the front bumper fascia wouldn't be too difficult, especially if you have a Haynes manual to show you exactly where are the connecting points are. It would be my assumption that aside from any screws, there are probably a few of those plastic retaining pins that you just push in, and that the sagging is due to them wearing out and getting loose. This is just my opinion, what do you think? Anyone else got any ideas? I was going to try and take care of mine this summer, thanks for bringing up the issue!

BTW, I see you listed as being in Ft Hood, active duty army? I was active for 6 years, last duty station was at Ft. Campbell. Moved back to Ohio and transitioned to the Guard (don't hate, they pay for school so I can pocket my entire gi bill)

there are like 6-8 screws holding the front cover on, take it off and see what kind of damage you have underneath, that may be whats causing it to be crooked, you damaged the support, or moved it to one side with the impact...

you can loosen said bolts, lift and tighten...i hate that the lines dont actually line up on our truck

Nice dude, good to hear! I'm curious when I was at both Ft. Campbell and Ft. Stewart they had a DIY auto shop on base that was friggan rad! Do they have anything like that at Ft. Hood?

Thanks for the link, not only does his truck look awesome, but I had no idea 20's with low pro tires could look that good on our Dak's. Makes me think about new rims totally differently.

haha yeah good luck with that! lol but i like doing it myself! gives me something to do and italian yes they do i'm gonna hit it up this weekend
