Default level and tires

hey guys,
I'm looking into getting a level and some all-terrian tires for my 07 dak.
What is the best size tire to put on(like no rubbing, best handleing, etc.) and also just best all-terrian in general.

I like the 1.5" TM kit because it gives you some lift, while not putting your tie rods and CVs (If you are 4x4) at extreme angles. That being said, your front will sit about 1" lower with the 1.5" ..... 2.5" would ideally level it out perfectly.

Anything that goes inside the spring will stiffen your ride. I went with the Rancho struts when I got the kit installed and the ride is stiff, but very stable. My one recommendation is to replace the struts at the same time, with Monroe or Rachos.

And finally, I love BFG A/T tires, but opinions are like butt holes. There are alot of Dak guys running them right now. For size, I did the 265/70/16. It was a stock size on the Dakota, and it doesnt require any lift to fit without rubbing. I like it because its a little more beef than the 245/70/16s but it doesnt slow you down too much. With the 3.55 gears I have, I didnt want to do 265/75/16s and slow myself down even more.

i'm getting a 2.5" over the strut kit and monroes put on soon. Then I'm going with a 285-65/17, which is almost an inch wider and taller than my stock 265-65/17.

I'm thinking they will be fine. My stockers are 10.43" wide by 30.56" high, the 285/65-17 are 11.22" wide by 31.35" high, so les than an inch in each direction. They say you can get 32" in the front with a 2.5" kit. I may get some rub, but we'll see.
