Default Oil Weights

In my old dakota I would always run 5w30 in the winter and 10w30 in the summer. I now have an 08 and it calls for 5w20, so my question is what are other people running?

I'm running Valvoline 5w20 synthetic. I don't have any place to do my own oil changes any more, and Valvoline is one of the few places that doesn't whine when I select something other than plain old 10w30.

Pennzoil Platinum 5w-20. Thinner oils will help get better gas mileage but wont perform as well for racing or towing and hauling.

5w-30 Amsoil XL.

Mine actually calls for 5w-30 in the manual and on the cap. You can also run 10w-30 in the summer according to my manual but 5w-30 is good to go year round. I'm curious, you guys that have 5w-20 specified what area of the country are you in? I'm in the Northeast, maybe it has to do with expected climate in the area.

Mine says 5w-30 but I use 5w-20 for summer and 5w-30 for winter
