That's what I was refering to. My truck was in a 25MPH head on collision this spring, and it has been innacurate ever since. It is possible the body shop replaced it in the wrong location. I'll look tonight. Thanks

 

I looked around under the hood, and could not find anything. Can anyone send a snapshot of what it looks like, and where it is supposed to be.

 

mine looks pretty much like this, but theres going to be some wires going to it.

It is that little thing on the right side, under the driving light, kinda hard to see it in this pic (in the circle) but thats where it shold be mounted:

I had to relocate mine when I installed the intercooler

 

Thanks for the picture. I guess I'm old school, to me the right side is passenger side, that's where I was looking. I found it hanging from the wires next to the frame, under the battery. I re-routed it thru the rubber air deflector, and manufactured a small bracket to hold it above the crossmember. I hit the corner of a full size chevy pickut that took a left turn in front of me. I hit dead center in the grill, so had to replace that crossmember, along with the rest of the front end. Hopefully it will work better now.

 

So did you try unplugging it??

 

I sure did. seems the compessor cycles less. It helps cool faster but the after a long drive its the same.
