I did a search and came up empty. Does anyone know where the sensor for the thermometer is, and can it be calibrated. I.m not talking thermostat, but thermometer. Mine is usually close, but sometimes on a 70 degree day, after stopping for a stoplight, it shoots up to 85. Somethings not right.
Are you referring to the temperature sending unit for the overhead console? If so its mounted behind the grill, lift the hood and its on the drivers side.
yep, drivers side right on the cross bar behind the grill. Dont unplug it with the truck on or anything. It will throw a code. On a side note, according to ueland, it will make the ac ice cold with it unplugged for some reason. If you can put up with the CEL on you can have really, really cold ac
I've wondered what that was. I have one -- even though I do not have the overhead console. Any idea what function it performs, given that intake air temperature is measured separately/elsewhere?
