In all seriousness though there's another factor here. Is your Dakota paid off? If it is I'd say that's a huge argument for keeping it right there. The less things you have to make payments on the better. I'm certainly glad I don't have to worry about paying off my truck AND my student loans simultaneously. A DSM isn't a bad idea if you fit in them, performance per dollar I doubt you could do better.
Na i owe a few dollars on my truck. A stupid fast dak is sweet but i kinda want a hand shaker (6 speed). And you are more than right about the dsm and im only 5'8" so i fit in anything.

I just priced a new Ram, outfitted the way I want it, the way I would have to have it because anything less then it would not be what I wanted or what I have now (Laramie crew cab).......drum roll..... $801 a month for a 60 month loan....No thanks, I'll keep my $200 a month payment and my fun in the ol butt-meter Dakota, I would just not be happy with a stripped down truck, even if it did have a hemi.

Brand new vehicles are not a good investment, you loose 25% of its value as soon as its off the lot. Wait a year and look for a barley used one for less money.

I have always been a Dodge guy, but after looking into the new 2011 ford 150 with the 3.7 ecoboost twin turbo 320hp 420 torque 22 mpg This truck stock beat my cousins Ram 2500 modified diesel. I might need go test drive this truck.

I would give it a year befor i jumped on the eco-boost band wagon just to see if they have any problems. I would never buy a ford truck after i saw my boss and a buddy have the same engine problem on 3 different trucks.

I agree, but still think it warrants a test drive lol

The Mustang is nice, but when I build & price the one I would buy, it's about 40 grand. It's a great car though. I have no use for a new Ram, especially a small cab.

F150 that is my next truck. After 42 years of driving Mopars I'm so done.
