well a storage unit around here that would fit the truck is around $100 a month and usaa which im sure you have will let you drop the coverage down to storage which is cheap and storage at $100 a month for 36 months $3600 which isnt bad this way you dont have to worry about somebody vandalizing it messing with it ect its a covered storage unit that only you have access to id pull the battery and store it thats what i would do not that i dont trust family but i dont want it to be a hassle for them and this is a secure and covered storage and you could probley get a climate controlled unit for $200 or so cause hawaii is gunna eat your truck my buddy had is rust free 1958 chevy pickup shiped there and 20 years it is now swiss cheese so yours im sure would not be that bad but its still gunna do its toll on your truck that money thats gunna be spent on rust repair could be money for performance parts and more mods and who knows the storage unit may give you a brake if you pay it all up front and have it covered with renters insurance and your standard insurance but thats just my
