turning left noise goes away, turning right its much worse. highway speeds its not really there.10-50mph is bad. steering gear or something?

my buddy in the 2g section still thinks its the wheel bearing although when i tested it the tire wont budge.

He may be right. When my right one went bad it wasn't making a lot of noise yet. In fact I wasn't sure which one it was. I don't remember being able to budge it myself. It also would go away if I turned one way and get worse if I turned it the other way.

I know the feeling, the truck runs great for a while and I'm really happy with it then something happens and I'm bummed out. I keep having to tell myself "It's a ten+ year old truck you have to drive everyday so things will eventually crap out". So don't get too down and out, you'll get to the bottom of it.

That right there makes me think its wheel bearings. have you ever replaced wheel bearings on your truck.

That def sounds like a wheel bearing. If it wobbles or wiggles its very serious. You are in the beginning stages so the wiggle shouldnt be very noticeable if at all.

it drives normal, no issues with steering, just the noise and vibration in the foot well.
