They are original and pretty worn. I put the Bosch coppers in.

Looks pretty normal. Contact worn down. Nice white ceramic. I would say nothing is wrong, Unless the rest looked completely different, or this happened in very low miles.

ash building on the ground strap indicates too much fuel injector cleaner is being used.
Does it look like it has glitter sprinkled on it?

They all look the exactly the same.


Yes a yellowish glitter color kinda like little spots raised up a bit.

I think most of the crap on the strap is due to how worn down the plug got. I would just check one of the new plugs every 3000 miles (which should be done anyways).

Do you do a lot of highway/towing and hauling?

Seems your plug is too hot. it should be tan in color and no sparkles. similar to this.

Do you think gas millage will improve a bit since they were so worn and having a big gap?

I gapped the new ones at a tight 40

I have a question on the plugs guys, at how many miles on the truck should you replace the original plugs?

Copper plugs usually go at 25-35k. Platinums 50-75k. Iridium 75-100k. Not withstanding any other failures.
