Standard valve springs will hold all the way up to 206 cams. If you go 212 or bigger you will need beehive valve springs. I wouldn't mess with the heads unless you plan on running stupid boost levels down the road or get ported/polished heads. If you do, go to cometic head gaskets as they will hold up to 16/17 psi of boost trust me, lol.

Throw up some pictures of your cam swap.
