Default Sold the truck

The cammed, blown, injected and stalled beast has been bought. One of my brother's friends offered me Bluebook plus 6k so it looks like it's a done deal. Truck had 111,000 miles on it at sale. I'm proud that it will be driven daily and not sit in storage for 3 years.

Now I'm looking for a 2008+ 4.7l to work my magic on.

Sorry to hear that she had to go, but like you said its better than sitting for 3 years. All the days and nights you put in working on the truck.
Bring on the next big project! Cannot wait to start reading the threads!

Sad day, but you'd be a fool if you didn't take the deal! Now get building the next beast!

First sold the Dakota and planning to buy another I've seen on here. Most are getting a Ram.

Thank you gentlemen. I'm very proud of that truck and could not bear the thought of her sitting in storage for 3 years.

As for getting a Ram, they are too big and heavy for my taste. If I can't find an 08+ 4.7L here I will get one when I transfer stateside. I'm thinking of getting a custom cam grind and putting on a twin screw blower. The G3 Dakota is an awesome truck with huge potential. You just have to be able to unlock it.

Well use it as a chance to get better than you were before. With an 08+ you will have a great starting point.

No f**ing waaaayyyy!!! If I play my cards right I can have the fastest 4.7 in the forum!! lol, but for real you should tell your brothers friend to make an account here so the truck can stay in the forum!

Im guessing you are after the H.O Dakota?
