Looks good! That's the right way to do it. Buddy of mine in south Ga. got nailed for having his lights too dark, I wanna say the ticket was just under $200! Besides, paranoia will destroy ya'...
Much better, I never really understood why people tint taillights and headlights. I want to be seen at night, and there is always a cop with a hardon for tinted lights, windows, HID's, license plates, etc. out there waiting to find you. Nice work.
Hey kent where did you mount your light bar im looking to get one and im kinda stumped on where to put it.
Mine was the stick on kind. Stuck it to the bottom edge of the bed. It's not the best place as you have to be kinda low behind it to actually see the LED's but the glow shines out so you can see it. Others on here have fabbed up custom mounts to attach it to the bottom of the tailgate, but mine was not designed to mount like that.
Has anybody seen the blurry covers I saw one when I lived in az but it only blurred the last couple letters of the plate I thought it was stupid cause they can still get you with the first few letter of your plate
They are made by a company called veilside. In my younger and dumber days when I was in to valentine one radar detectors and escort laser jammers, these covers were popular because from 20 feet or more above the vehical (where a speed or red light camera would be mounted) you couldn't see any of the letters. We don't have red light cameras here so it never mattered for me. Radar detectors are useless because most cops use laser (and yes, radar detectors are legal .... just google it) and with laser the only defense was a jammer. Jammers are expensive and must be installed precisely to work. I sold all of my stuff to avoid the fuzz, and I bought some mods for the truck.
