Rear end sag? (or instant leveling kit...)

Rear end sag? (or instant leveling kit...)
Well I just had my bed Rhino lined (~50lbs) and and a Leer XL cap installed (~250lbs) and now I no longer need to install a leveling kit. I wish I had before and after kits but my truck used to ride *** high like they all do and I was planning on installing a leveling kit but now with the bed liner and cap it looks level or maybe even a little nose high with a full tank of gas and a few random boxes in the back, I'm going to measure ride height soon to be sure. So... any recomendations for bringing her back up to normal? I've heard of add-a-leaf, helper springs, air bags and "blocks", anyone care to debate the differences and pros/cons of each?
Thanks,
JR

Simple and easiest would to be just add a 1", 1-1/2", or 2" rear block. I will be adding a 2" rear block tomorrow morning. You will need new U-joints also.
Add a leaf will stiffen the rear end for the worse, but will increase load capacity a little.
Helper springs, air bags, monroe coil rear shock, wont bring up the rear end, just help with sag under load.

Someone can back me up on this, since I don't have those shocks (yet) but I've done some research and thats just what I decided to do for my truck.

U-joints or U-bolts?
I think I'm leaning toward the Monroe coil shocks, at 80K my shocks are overdue for replacing anyway and hopefully the new shocks will bring the rear end back up to normal height. I've been thinking about a small lift down the road so 2" blocks in the rear and a 1.5" leveling kit up front might be on the menu later on.
Thanks for the help!

Yes sir. Thats is what I have in mine. I can hook my camper to up (about 2300#) and there is only a 1/2 inch of sag. The ride actually isn't too rough. It seems a little more bumpy but it doesn't jar you in side the cab as one would think.

I wouldn't have expected that much sag with that little weight. I have the rear leveling kit on mine, rhino-lined bed, and when moving recently with a bunch of furniture in the back the rear never squatted visibly. For all I know I may not have had as much weight as I thought in there and that squatting is normal but you may want to glance at your rear leafs and make sure nothing is broken. It never hurts to check and it's easy to just stick your head under there and look.
