I went to the strip this Wednesday. Intake, Exhaust, Hypertech 93 tune and went 16.8 @ 82 mph Added a 50 dry shot and went 16.4 @ 86 mph. Best MPH of the night was 88. I am putting the e-fan in soon as well as doing to little porting on the TB. We are going to strap the truck to the dyno to check A/F with the 50 shot and if everything is good we are gonna up it to a 75-100 shot

Um, what is a 50 dry shot (im asuming NOS, but how do you add it? (and will it hurt the engine) I am running 17.5-17.7 with efan, intake, colder plugs, 180 stat and custom exhaust, and 27" tires. This is without having it tuned. I cant wait to see what it does after Sean tunes it!

BTW, you should be really impressed with the efan. Best mod so far as HP.

Sully, what is the weather like there? I have noticed that when it starts to cool down here, and the humidity climbs, with all the computer BS on our trucks, mine seems to slow down, versus the older cars with nothing but engine and tranny speed up. Ergo, I end up raising my dial-in time by about .10 over my best run, or I am way off. I ran 17.5 last sept. on 31" tires. Overall, I am runing .545 seconds faster with the 27s. (Sorry, I really dig this drag racing. Gets me away from EVERYTHING for the whole day)

my best was a 15.55 @ 92.1 thats with all terrains and not my most recent tune. due to the hot weather I have put 1/4 runs on a hold b.c heat kills the 4.7 hp.

I'd go wet before jumping above 50. Not worth leaning out and destroying a motor.

The weather at the track was about 90 degrees F that day. Yes a 50 dry shot is Nitrous. I ran the truck with 33'' tires lol. Next mod is the EFan I have sitting in the garage, porting the TB, running different injectors, one step colder plugs and a bigger shot of NOS

Talking Tuner is on the way!

Finally ordered the tuner from Hemifever! (Fri) Should arrive in the mail on Tues. I thought it would take longer for them to program it? I guess he must have already tuned a 3.7L and had the tunes saved? I just ordered "canned" since I do not have any mods done to my cams or heads which I believe was the only reason to have custom tuning done? I cant wait to see how she acts after I plug in the tune.

jkeaton, will do. Your truck is a 4.7L? So your results with SCT would be much different? I only have the 3.7, (so as far as tuning, Hemifever was my only option). I am off tomorrow, tuesday, so I plan to play with the tuner as long as the weather is good, and the mailman shows up early.

Did you get your tuner from hemifever ozone? I had him tune my 3.7 Ram awhile ago and dyno'd it to show the gains and see if we could squeeze the most out of it. I've got pretty much every bolt on there is for the 3.7 and w/ a manual tranny 2wd Ram we were putting down 182 hp and 210 tq to the wheels vs. 171 hp and 200 tq with a stock tune. Really wish I had dyno'd the truck before I started doing all the mods, but I never figured I would go as far as I did. Check out the thread I posted with some graphs if you haven't already https://dodgeforum.com/forum/3rd-gen...ck-vs-jet.html. I'm skeptical about the hypertech gains for the 07-up 3.7 considering the mods done to my truck and the gains I ended up with, has anyone dyno'd that other than hypertech?
