DO NOT BUY THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have these tires 265/70/16 hate them. worst traction in the wet or offroad. I get sideways passing someone on the highway at 60mph in the wet. scary as hell. do not buy these. they have soft rubber which lead to a crumbling sidewall and divots in the main tread.

they have good wear and have no road noise but i will not buy these tires again, hate them with a passion. terrible traction, for an all terrain they have street tire grip off road.

snow in 2wd, forget it might as well walk.

my buddy Brett (DF memeber in town)who has a 04 4.7 QC has the same tires just the 265/ size. feels the same way and hes stock. he gets sideways under light throttle too.

my distaste for these tires are evident in this video. tried to climb a small mound of dirt, in the first part of the video you can see i made it up about 2 feet before the tires would just spin.

I thought you were lowering your truck Winston? Or atleast removing the torsion cranks?

Kent, you know my recommendation. BFG A/Ts all the way! If they are too steep, then go with the General Grabber AT2s (basically the same tire). I just like name brands and I believe you get what you pay for.

thanks for the info Winston. I almost bit the bullet but I figured I would ask the real experts first. Back to the tire hunting drawing board.

i went to lower it and the bolts were too rusted on the ubolts for the leafs, so i was like screw it. i dont have superman powers to loosen bolts like that.

i would look at the nitto terra grappler the grabbers or bgf rugged terrain <(i want these) even though its like a highway tire.

The size I'm looking for (265-70/17), and the place I'm buying from (Discount Tire) do not carry BFG A/T's, Grabber AT2's, Nitto or the rugged terrain (in that size). The have the long trail TA tour and rugged trail (BFG), Grabber HTS (General)...none that you guys mentioned. Wat about Falken Rocky Mountain ATS? Cooper Discoverer? Pirelli Scorpion?

I have to respectfully disagree w/ thunder. Granted, I haven't had these tires in snow or many wet roads (Phx, AZ here), but...these tires have 42k on them right now. They are 265/65/17 size. I cannot get sideways on dry pavement and I have truly tried many times. This may be partly because of the oem limited slip, but compared to the stock bad-year SRA's, these tires are amazing.

I have pulled my 20' 4k lb boat out of the water loaded w/ people and a slick as hell and steep ramp (multiple times) in 2wd and watch as the tacomas and all other trucks slip and slide. hell, my dad who can't drive w/ a trailer had the truck rolling backwards and gave too much gas and the truck still pulled forward instead of slipping into the lake.

I have been through mud, sand, rocks, etc w/ these tires. No they are not M/T's, but I could not be more impressed by tires. Especially the fact that I have 42k on them and wont be replacing them until next spring (probably another 10k).

To each his own I guess.

Jkeaton check parrish tire here in winston they had a better installed price on my tires than just about anywhere including tire rack and discount tire.

I am running kelly safari tsr's. They look very mean and kelly tires is one of the oldest tire companies around nowadays and they are currently owned by goodyear so you know you have a big name backing them up.
