there are some other carfax stuff you can get for like 8 dollars. did that with my motor when i was buying. cant remember the link but just google it.

 

I say keep looking looking. There are lots of good deals out there. When I bought my 06 Trx4 SLT w/ 14k miles, I spent $14,975. This truck was mint and even better now.

tell the dealer to spend the money on a carfax, it's not up to the buyer to go to the dealer with one, also, tell the dealer 9800.00. see what they say

Dealers (reputable ones) will offer a carfax for free. We have a few dealers that actually advertise on the radio to call them with any vin number and they will run a carfax for free for you, even if youre not buying from them.

As for a price, always start low. My dad came with me when I went to the dealer to get my truck ..... I was really embarressed when he said $7k cash and the sales man just laughed. He went to the sales manager though and told him the offer. They will come down, and when they dont, WALK OUT! Theyll call you back

 

I should have some time tomorrow.....might try and stop by with the Jeep and see what they say...... I'm in no hurry to buy. Like dodgedad said to keep looking...who knows might get a call in a few days from them with a great deal.

Aight guys,

Stopped to look at the truck. Talked to one of the salesmen. Much older guy. really nice..not pushy at all to be honest.
let me look it over, didnt try and tell me anything about the truck I didnt ask about.

The interior is pretty nice with one exception. Drivers side floor right between your legs there is a square cut out of the carpeting. Probably wont even see it when the floor mats are in it...however...im curious what its about. The salesmen didn't know.

Talked to the wife and im going back on Monday or Tuesday to talk turkey and see what they will give me for the Liberty.
