Arrow 4th Brake Light

Nice lights, next paycheck though you gotta replace your tailgate emblem with one of these Reese Ram lighted emblem.

I saw this in the store, it wires into your brake lights so it glows with your tail lights and gets brighter when you hit the brakes, though I read in the RAM forum section someone installed it to only light up when the brakes were pressed. I want to install this, but I have other things to do first. So I say you go first and tell us how it went!

I don't know how the wiring works, but if there isn't a disconnect built in I'll splice one in so I can still take off my tailgate if I ever need to.

I think this would look even better up front where the dodge symbol is on the grill wired to you parking lights! This could be a possible mod to do in a couple weeks!

I'm pretty sure it's a lot bigger than the one on the emblem on the front grill, but neat idea!

For legality you'd have to change it to yellow/amber or white right?

If it's not too big that could look pretty awesome though!

I read that autozone had an exclusive contract but I first saw this in my local Farm & Home store so

Darn, I may have to be the guinea pig for the tailgate, unless Akizzle plans to do both his front and rear. It'll be a while though, I plan to upgrade the shocks and whatnot before I worry about the vanity stuff like this light up Ram.

Just so you know, it looks way better in the store. The website pix don't do it justice.

Just went outside to examine the emblem yeah the back is way bigger than the front, so that idea is shot. There's alot of ideas running in my head for different type of setup, but I'm thinking i want it to look like the emblem on the Lexus LF-Gh concept car, so give me a couple weeks and some 0.9mm Raw 2-White Polar Bright El Wire (4500-WHRD) or 1 mm LED bulbs, silicone gel coating, and I should be able to come up with something very unique for the front emblem. Elite I will probably do this while i have some down time while my parts are being shipped to me, I really have to look over this front emblem, but i can definitely make it happen just going to take some of my precious life credits aka time lol
