Awesome. Just in case, i needed that info. I pick up my mygig on Tuesday. I have the mygig adapter from Coastal on the way. Once both are here, I will pull out the radio bezzel and get the dremel out and start trim the plastic down. I hope it works well using a dremel, I want it as clean as possible.

This unit only comes with the unit. So I believe I will need to get the sat radio antenna, and GPS antenna. Just need to find a good supplier.

Look on Ebay, there are several good suppliers for what you need to get.

Also, one thing that helped me when making the opening for the mygig was the use of a metal caliper...

I used it to measure and then score a perfect line on the plastic..it worked great!

Can I not mount the sat radio antenna under the dash? I see no reason why it won't work.

yep! it should work fine...I wound up putting the factory 2008 and up one on my roof, but if I did it over I would put in under the dash!

Get yourself some plastic weld cement and fill part of the "ear" where the volume and station **** cut outs are, then sand the surface smooth....they are about 1/8" too far out from the opening you will be cutting.

Also, don't cut off the little pegs on the back by the same "ears", they will fit fine into the mygig, and will help keep the bezel where it needs to be.

Also be careful of what kind of paint you use....the first one I used (was supposed to be plastic safe) started to crack into and eat the plastic!

I successfully used Rustoleum paint that was "for all surfaces".

Good luck, and take your time!

Trim the hole smaller than it needs to be at first then very carefully file it away a bit at a time with a sanding bit (or use sandpaper or a file by hand) to get it that last little bit of the way there. I wish I'd done it this way on mine, the dremel with the cutting wheel tends to occasionally catch and jump a little on you and I ended up cutting the hole a little wide in some spots. Going to just get a whole new bezel and cut it again at some point.
