Awesome, thanks for the help. Far as I know the speakers are stock, or atleast only the factory upgrade. Then again maybe I need to look really close...

I feel like this is a stupid question but I gotta ask. There's no way I could add one without taking up floor space right? Thing is we'll be making cross country trips in this thing and I gotta carry 4 adults (including me) and my toddler, who will of course grow larger with time.

I'm already trying to figure out where I'm gonna keep an electric cooler when the time comes. Have to buy a new one though cuz my last one gave up the ghost.

Honestly don't think it was an amp used to power a sub, I would say probably used to power components speakers, though the 16-18 gauge wire isn't the greatest, but sufficient to power in between 40-50 rms of power.

For a sub i would use 8-10 gauge and lower which is based on distance of wire and power output (rms) i have a website i use to help in deciding what wire size and length is need for various type of stereo applications.

I would say wrap it up with electrical tape til you use a volt meter to determine if its a live wire, or trace the wire back to the original location. I'm sure someone left it there for a reason, or could just been plain laziness!
