You must be thinking about eric, he cut a hole in his hood to make his functional...there is a video around here somewhere...makes me sick to my stomach to watch it....lol

Maybe im just a tight *ss, but it looks like this particular scoop is +-$600? Seems like you could buy a hood for that much! Or at least they ought to come to your house and install it! LOL The only diff I see is it is mechanically attached, and made from sheet metal. The one plus is it seems to come painted to dodge paint code.
