From some fishing trails,

I see a picture every once in a while. You must make a photo thread or something. I love this truck!

Hankook is not a bad brand, just keep them rotated regularly and at least once a year or 12,000 miles have them re-balanced. Sometimes they do start getting choppy around the edges and leads to a noisy tire, from my experience, usually the lower level tires. I have Kuhmo Road Venture SAT KL61 30x9.5x15 on my 1995 Grand Cherokee and it's the best all around tire, no noise, has traction on every road surface you can imagine (well I haven't tested them in snow because it never snows in Florida) and look great. That's just my

I can vouch for both of these my pa has the Hanooks on his 08 Dakota and he hasn't rotated them as much as he should and they do not look as good as they did when he bought them... but it doesnt help that he has them down to prob 8-10k left on them

I had Khumos also on my JGC before and they are a very all around good tire, good wear and road noise and like said above reasonable grab off road.

Dayton Timberlines are really more along the lines of the "off brand" of destination A/T's and are not all that bad Either, wear close the the same as the destinations, but i only had them 7000 miles, didn't get much of a chance to try them out.

As for me on my truck, i think I have been sold on the Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo II's.... seem like amazing tires and worth every penny, not to mention they are guaranteed to ride the same no matter the tread wear. I should be getting them in a week and I can give my :2c: about it when i get them.

All i know is that I will never get Wranglers or BFG AT's again... my personal opinion.

Now there is a new member who knows something about tires. Only two brands I've ever had BAD issues with were Goodyear (Wranglers specifically) and BFG A/Ts which two set for me were fast & uneven wearing, cupping, total pieces of sh*t!

I'm with you dude, I wouldn't put a Wrangler or BFG on my truck if someone gave them to me for free...

When I bought my Grand Cherokee they had brand spankin' new BFG Long Trails, I'm assuming with 61k on it when I bought it, the owner slapped new meats on cause the originals were probably bald.

They rode nice and wore ok, but I put FIVE plugs in them in the year and a half they were on the Jeep! Last straw was when one was punctured by a dried out cotton stalk while crossing a field up at the farm to fish down at the pond! A cotton stalk for Christs' sake!!! I mean if you're not from the south, they can be sharp and cut the sh*t out of you, but puncture a tire!?!

I've had my Nitto Terra Grapplers on for over two years now, go to all the same places and haven't had to put a plug in them yet!

jkeaton the truck looks great man. I said the same thing as you about the inline vent visors when I got mine, never going back to the stick-ons again.

I've had trouble with some Wranglers (notably the SR-A garbage that came on the dak) but when I had my Z71 I put a set of Wrangler AT/S tires on it that were absolutely great for me.

Hoping that Hankook chunking you mentioned doesn't happen to my Ventus ST's, I absolutely love these tires so far.
