285/65R18 without a lift
Yes it's possible but requires some body work.
I posted some picks in a photo album.

Was not too sure about taking a zip disc, welder and grinder to my 08 but it worked out real well. Still going to install a 3" body lift in the next few months along with a whole list of other crap. ;>)

im not back in the states yet but my roomate says that with my new rims i have som rubbing on the frame to at full turn with my 285/75- 16's. i'll have to see how bad it is for myself. fixn to leave here soon i cant wait to get back to my Dak!
I want to get 275/65/18's, i currently have a 2.5" level and 2.5" rear blocks......not sure what ill have to do though until i put them on. Im thinking some trimming up front and maybe a steering stop?

I suppose you might modify the original little mud flap, flare, lower fender thing to work.
Probably not need the steering stop if they are on stock wheels as mine just rubbed a bit.
I'm new to the third gen stuff so I don't know what others are running without modifications but staying a inch lower in profile sure would save a lot of work.
Pictures of the Dakota Dually? And your 08 looks great, I need to do something to keep my tires from rubbing my frame. I only have 265/70/17 but have wheels that stick out a bit and somehow makes my tires rub.
