I like the tires! Did you have to do any trimming to get them to fit with no rub?

Took a trip from Ottawa, ON, Canada down to Lake Placid, NY last weekend with a bed full of camping gear and a 6x8 trailer full of back packs. 530 kms (330 miles) round trip. Computer told me I got 15.8 mpg, travelling mostly 10% above the speed limit. Never worried about getting up a hill (I know, truck wasn't even loaded), but the front rims were a little black from brake dust.

Nope! that was the cool thing. I can crank it all the way sitting still. I dont recommend comming in hott around a corner tho. those tires are TSL LTB's. I just rotated em last week and i still have some of the lettering on the lugs...and tire hairs in some areas. I notice a huge difference when they're warm and cold. When they're cold, you get a huge amount of resistance, lugs are really hard. once they're warm its smooth sailin with not to much tire hum.

Interesting, thank you.

Does doing this with the trip meter count? If so I did that alot last week as I went on a 2,000 mile trip.

If not I'll have to try it with it showing mileage and see if it makes a difference.

It doesn't have anything to do with the trip-odometer on the dash. It is in the overhead console. Use the "Step" function, to get to the economy setting and press "reset".
