For me, it was about proving a point. While in the SOVA club I was surrounded by Hemi Ram guys and 5.9 R/T guys. Everyone hates the G3 Dakota as it never got the Hemi or an SRT. I told them I could build a G3 with a 4.7L that would be faster than anything they could build. I never lost to a single one of those trucks at the track or dyno. In fact, the only Ram to meet me at a dyno and put down better than I did was at Omaha, NE and it was a 2009 with heavy mods.

Fastest combo I tested broke a 13.25 @ 109.
KRC 206 cams, Novi 1000 on 14 psi of boost, #39 Injectors with 4.10 gears and drag slicks. I never got to dyno the new transmission before I sold the truck but I know the numbers would have been good.

 

That's funny because i went to a dyno day that SOVA had and the only truck there that made more power then me at that time was a 383 stoker can't remember the speciffics but he made more HP and one Dakota R/T made a little more TQ then me. BUT..... I was only 8 pounds of boost at the time......... NOW I AM PUSHIN 20 pounds plus.

 

Was it Drew? I miss SOVA, had a lot of great times with those guys. I really miss Mopar Madness at Petersberg.

 

it was a ram and i think it had something to do with Sharadon for some reason. i think it was Opie with the R/T. I also had the quietest cat there with just a Magnaflow cat back at the time. aaaaaa

 

I did it because I want to be different and its great advertising for my business who else has dropped an LSx into a Raider lol

 

Man once u get that thing boosted ill have to do something to up you.

Ill either sell my headers to someone else that wants to do that same swap lol and boost the truck or same the money and get a rear end from a 4.7 with limited slip and some Nitrous
