Default New Tires and Leveling Kit Are Installed!

I just put four Cooper Discoverer A/T3's on my truck. I also put a 2" front leveling kit on it.
The 2" kit actually raised it more like 4" so I'm going to put a 2" set of blocks on the back.

I spent just a tad under $1,000 to install the tires, leveling kit and an alignment. Me local garage told me that it took almost 2 hours for each of the levelers. It also took 3 guys to do the work. I'm glad that I didn't try it myself.

Looks good! I should have bought the black kit. I bought the unfinished ones and they are pretty noticeable.

I'm running 265 70R16's & only one needs replaced before snow so it would be nice to get your old spare in good condition that I read about in your other thread if the age code on it is 1206 or newer...

but I estimated the cost to drive to Beaver Dam, WI and it'd be about $150 round trip in fuel, dang it. Hey, you don't happen to be planning a holiday trip to the SW MI area do you...

I could be wrong, so someone could correct me. But would not a 4" lift makes the CV's at a bad angle?

Uh oh! Fill me in a little.
I've been ready many postings about the leveling kits but haven't seen that mentioned before.

From what ive read over the many I read, 4x4 should only be a 2" Lift with spacers or the CV's become on a bad angle and can wear quick
