KEEP THE 2,5'' when you upgrade the parts for moog you will be fine!!!
the bodylift buy the 3''Performance accessories made for the truck its worth the $$$
due to stering coupler ans brackets for the bumper... after you can go with 33'' tires!!!

I have the 2.5" Velocity kit on my truck. Had it on there for about a month now (maybe 500 miles) and no issues and I drive it pretty hard on and off road. I have only heard the control arm smack once and that was when I hit a big dip in the road pulling into my driveway a little too fast. I guess only time will tell.
One thing worth noting though, the 2.5" kit raises your front end up a little higher than level. My truck looks like it is lower in the back now so I am thinking about a 1" block or add a leaf to get it even. So if you want a true level look, go with the 2".

I agree. With a 2.5" lift on the front you will need 1" blocks in the rear.

Go wit a 2" for a true level

what I'm wondering is if you replace all the factory junk would you then be ok running the higher kits? I just got my moog outer tie rods yesterday. will be installing next weekend.

I have the 2.5" on mine and have had no problems "knock on wood", when I first installed mine last summer, it was higher in the front at first but it leveled itself off
