airbag light

Default airbag light

hey guys
my airbag light has been staying on for the last 2 weeks just wondering what the cause is.. or should i just deal with it... it goes off ever so often but as soon as i start the truck again it comes back on

Which airbag light, the one on the dash or above the radio?

the only time i had a problem with mine was because i forgot to plug it back in after removing th bezel

its the airbag light on the dash (2007 dakota) 4.7

Both of mine go on and off. Is there a quick fix? Nothing is leaning against the one under the passenger seat. Sensor under the steering wheel maybe?

You're not going to find a quick fix. Is there any issues with the horn, cruise control, or steering wheel radio controls (if equipped)? It's possible that the clock spring is the culprit.

nope none of those issues. I guess I'd need to drop my steering column to get to it?

I looked it up on youtube and the closest that I found was a dodge I think it was a caravan from around 06. Would these be almost identical? If so, it's not a bad job.
