Default mustang injectors

I've been thinking about gettting some of the SVT corba 39lb injectors and putting them in when I install my H/O cams and swap to a SCT tuner this spring For those y'all that are running them where did you get them and how much did you pay? if you don't mind my asking. I found these on ebay but I don't know what is a good price.

I got mine used for 100 bucks nd that was a ppretty good deal. I needed bigger injectors to make up for the air ratio increase.

Without more air bigger injectors wont make your truck faster. Your will just run rich.

Default 39lb injectors

I have a question I put 39lb injectors on my truck today now it does run rich as hell did when I first started it. It was hard to start but after it did I drove and it drove fine and actually it gave me power no lie could do something I never could a "burnout!!" But the big problem is I believe the fuel/air ratio is way off if I stomp it it goes like a bad out of hell then at about 5,000 rpms it cuts out not sure if the ratio is off or the fuel pump can't keep up hopefully tall do and it is throwing rich codes

Right. It will and it does. You're just going end up carboning the heck out of your engine. As stated, it is a waste of money and gas unless you are going turbo or supercharger. You've done nothing to increase the air required for more fuel. You're better off with a tuner. Welcome to the forum.

That won't help. You need more volume. Bigger throttle body, intake manifold and head work. You need to get the stoichiometric ratio Back to 15:1 for complete combustion. Might be able to get a custom tune from hemifever, can't remember though.

with the HO cams bigger injectors are not needed, a simple tune with the cams is what will wake the truck, I went larger 206 cams along with a 70mm tb for my nitrous, hence the larger injectors were needed, new they ran me almost 400.00 from the local dealer, and with the sct tuner from Sean, most R/T charger and challenger people don't know what hit them

I wanna try the factory 19lb injectors from the 4.6 motors on my truck, same thing as the 39 but less fuel but should have the same spray pattern but still definetly better than my 3.7 spray pattern. Computer will compensate to an extent for fuel but i believe our dakotas are 17 or so annyways?
