You know where darien lake theme park is? I can see it from my house. I'm at the north end of the snow belt. So I get pounded with the lake effect snow. Sucks. But makes for some interesting driving

Is that near Cheektowaga? Went to University in Guelph, Ontario and we got television from Buffalo. There was always a fire in Cheektowage!

I miss the snow we used to get in Guelph! We get cold here in Ottawa, but not as much snow!

Nice looking rig. We've been threatened with snow but not recieved much. Nothing has stayed on the ground. We need a good 4-6 inches to get the rinks started down at the park.

I have a 2008 dakota crew cab, auto, 16" rims, and I use it to plow.
I plow residential driveways.
My plow is a Snoway series 26 plow, 7' 6" blade with down pressure.
No problems.

That's what I have but no down pressure. My buddy has down pressure on his 26 and I can't tell a difference. Except he has more stones piled up at The end of his Driveway then I do in spring. And Btw we haven't had much for snow fall.. The " big storm " gave us lime 2 inches. Green Christmas this year.

Yea, can't believe we don't have more snow here. It's all going to average out though, so when it comes we are going to get pounded

Sounds almost continent wide. My sister in-law in Toronto hasn't had any snow yet, and it's been chilly but we haven't had any of our obligatory 8 inches every 2-4 weeks like usual here in Utah either.

I'm glad Toronto hasn't had any snow yet. We can't afford to send the army in to shovel their driveways anymore. Used up all of our Militry budget in Afghanistan.

Here in the City That Fun Forgot (Ottawa), we have had one "dump" of 3 or 4 inches of packy wet stuff. I didn't even start up the snow blower because the forcast was for warm the next few days.

There "might" be a dusting here on Christmas Eve, just to mess up travel plans and hide the green stuff.

Clearly, their won't be skating on the canal for New Year's Eve, no skiing into the chalet in Gatineau Park for brunch on Jan. 1.

Don't store your shovels however, it will come!
