Personalizing/mods. Finally making it MY truck.
I'm liking your plans. Looks like it's going to be pretty killer. Love the color and a two tone combo with black hood, cab and tonneau could look killer. Some advice, check ebay for a stock painted grille rather than painting your chrome one. Also a good place to find a bumper cover. I started as a base ST model and found my bumper cover on ebay for 1 PENNY from some outfit in Texas. $60 in shipping and $120 for paint and it looks better than painting the gravelly finish on the stock gray bumper cover.

I looked at the large one opening grille, but reminded me of a big mouth bass. Plus, I liked the flame inserts that I already had.

Thanks for the heads up. Did you just scuff and coat or did you somehow strip the chrome off? Also, could you tell me how you did your headlights like that? Looks pretty slick, I wonder if contact paper and an exacto blade would get such a good masking.
I will have everything but wheels and tires on monday-wednesday, I will start the teardown on the weekend! Hopefully the rims and tires will arrive before then so I get get them mounted on rim and balanced. (i know the tires will, it's the rims i'm worried about)
A couple more xmas presents to help me do the job.

Mine was on amazon prime for 120 and free shipping, which also came with a nice case. My other option was not amazon prime, 99 plus 11 shipping and no case. I'm glad I don't have to worry about shipping to Canada anymore.
