Its only sexy when you name is "BOB". For the rest of us, it doesn't apply. We are all not fortunate enough to have cool, good looking roll pans. Because we are not super cool people named Bob that can defy the product market. lol.

I need a new rear bumper for my 2005. I have the regular black bumper but its getting some rust. I was looking on rockauto, they have rear bumpers for as low as $154 and as high as $327. Its tough to tell from the site though what they include. I guess I could just get the $154 one and paint it with bedliner and move all of my step pads and everything over?

This is the image they have for the $154 one.

Just get the cheap one and transfer everything over.

Thats what I am thinking. I just have this bad feeling that the attachment hardware is going to be completely rusted out and stuck and I won't be able to get the old bumper off!

Then you've got three busted bolts and no new bumper to put on . . . . .

If you order the bumper, order new bolts, then cut or drill the old ones off if you can't wrench them, once you have new parts ready to be installed.

The bolts only have about 1/2" of thread sticking out the other end of the frame. When I removed mine, the first few turns were the worst. I used a breaker bar because my impact was too big to get in for a few of them. After that, just keep wrenching. Get yourself a good penetrating oil.

Mine was rust it didnt take to much work to get off, also didnt break any bolts at all.
I painted mine in bedliner once I sanded it all down

When I wanted to replace the front one I bought it off ebay motors.

I had seen many rear replacements too however, at decent prices.

You could buy a primed or painted one from many ebay stores, or the easiest of all, just buy a chrome one and be done with it. (of course thats not an option if you must have it color matched.)
