tire size question!!
i know there are a million threads bout tire sizes. but i was offered a deal on a set of tires that is just to good to pass up!! but i just want to make sure they will fit. my stock size is 265/65r17 and the tires are 255/75r17. now from what i understand if im doing the math right they will be almost the same height just a little bit wider correct? please correct me if im wrong. thank you

the 255/75/17 are 32.05" tall where are the stock size is 30.56" tall. I'm pretty sure you'll need a leveling kit or body lift to make them fit. Here is a good website for tire sizes

That is a great one, it tells you your speedometer difference too. Here's the one I've been using, it tells the width too.

My opinion is that I'd go with the 265/65/17 over the 255/70/17. The wider tire looks better on a truck, even if it's just a small amount wider.
But if you're getting a great deal on the 255/70's, it would probably be worth it. You may have to trim with that size though, it should only be a small amount though.
Unless you're leveled, then you'd be good to go.
