3 bolts (and remove the throttle and cruise cables). easy, easy easy. . Takes all of 10 minutes.

Meh, mine took 11 mins. LOL took an extra min to figure out how to remove the throttle cable.

You also need to swap out the sensors. but those are pretty easy.

has anybody put a throttle body spacer on their truck or is that defeating the purpose of upgrading the throttle body.

Unless you are gonna use it to tap a Nos port into, its worthless

I think some people have, but I doubt is does anything other than make your intake sound neat. I'm not sure if it would adversely effect the upgrade or not.

Default Hipotek on a 2005 4.7HO?

Anybody know if the 4.7HO has stock 65mm Throttle Body? Would I benefit from a 68.5 or should I go 70?

I have the Air raid throttlebody on my 2004 ram 1500 with the 4.7, same engine i believe, and it works wonders with about a 15hp increase if I remember the testing, as well as -2 or -3 mpg.

68.5 is good for minor to moderate mods, 70 will be about 1-2hp better but waste fuel, and yea they are the same.
