That was the blacked out car that ended up blowing up in a quarry in the end right? chases a mom and daughter through the whole movie?

with tip start, at least with my Journey, you insert the key and turn it to start and let it go. The car basically starts itself and the starter disengages without having to manually turn the key to run after start.

Christine (the film based on Stephen King's novel by the same name) Book and movie are excellent.

i have an aftermarket remote starter - one night while my keys were on the key rack, my wife and I were watching TV around midnight - and the truck started itself.
I thought it was possessed
Turns out, at some point my twin 3 yr old boys most likely pushed the buttons on my key fob which in turn accidentally programmed the remote starter to start my truck automatically at a specified time.
By reading the manual and disabling that feature, the truck acknowledged the disable with a blinker flash and did not start again... yet.
