Lowering Shackles direction?

Yeah those things really lower the bed more than it looks.

What drop shackles did you go with and how much did it drop the truck?

Supposed to be 2 inches, it looks it from behind and when standing next to it, but harder to tell by looking at the wheel wells alone. (i didn't measure prior to install) You could fab some extentions to it that would make the shackle longer, about an inch or so before it would touch the bed. But at that angle, the amount of drop you would get from a longer shackle would minuscule. I bet a 1.5" longer shackle would only give a half inch drop. Removing a leaf or ditching the shackles and relocating the axle would give a more dramatic drop.

Check out the Raider pic I posted in general if you haven't already. I'd kill for kits that would get a stance like that.

I got mine from BAdassR/T, his old set. He got his from canuckmotorsports. I know you are interested in lowering, just pm me and I'll send you all the links and info I've gathered since I started looking into it myself
